
Univision announced “Premios Juventud” 2021 nominations that will celebrate the “Youth Leading Change in Culture.” This year’s 160 nominees reflect the diversity and global growth of Latin music, and recognizes artists using their star power to drive change. The awaited summer youth awards show will welcome back a live audience at the Watsco Center in Miami on Thursday, July 22 at 7 p.m. ET/PT on Univision.
Camilo and Karol G lead the “Premios Juventud” nominations with 12 each. They are followed by J Balvin and Maluma (11 nominations), Daddy Yankee, Los Dos Carnales, and Myke Towers (9 nominations), and Christian Nodal and Natti Natasha (8 nominations). For the complete list of nominees and to vote for their favorite artists and influencers, fans can visit PremiosJuventud.com as well as the Uforia app. The voting period begins today and will remain open until June 28.
Alejandra Espinoza, Univision’s personality and host for this year’s “Nuestra Belleza Latina,” will be one of the show’s main hosts, with other hosts scheduled to be announced at a later date. Borja Voces, “Noticiero Univision Edición Digital” and “Primer Impacto” anchor, will bring the latest from backstage. The popular pre-show “PJ Takeover” will be hosted by actor and singer Gabriel Coronel, host of “Sal y Pimienta” Jomari Goyso, “Enamorándonos’” love correspondent Roberto Hernández, “El Gordo y la Flaca” co-host Clarissa Molina, and actress Fátima Molina.
