The nominees for the 2019 Premios Juventud were officially announced this week via Facebook Live by Univision with Maluma (8), Bad Bunny (7), Daddy Yankee (7) leading the nominations.
The awards this year count with 24 new categories for a total of 124 nominees! The winners will be chosen via the fans votes at PremiosJuventud.com. The highly awaited annual youth awards show Premios Juventud returns for its 16th year on Thursday, July 18, 2019 live from Watsco Center in Miami.
“Premios Juventud” aims to inspire, motivate and empower Latino youth to become leaders for change. This year, awards will celebrate the current trends in pop culture, music, digital, fashion, television and social media. And reflecting today’s Hispanic youth, the show will be more bilingual than ever.
Boy band phenom CNCO, multitalented Argentine artist Lali, and beloved Univision personality Alejandra Espinoza will host the three-hour live event beginning at 8 p.m. ET, preceded by a one-hour pre-show, “PJ Takeover,” beginning at 7 p.m. ET hosted by Univision’s Borja Voces and Clarissa Molina.
