Teresa Mendoza is back after 9 years, and we got a chance to watch the first episode of La Reina del Sur 2 at the Hollywood Premiere Event we attended last week!

The premiere took place at the Avalon in Hollywood and most of the cast was present including Kate del Castillo herself, as well as a few other celebrities. We mingled and then watched the first episode which was then followed by a Q&A panel with the cast present, and ended with a live performance of Los Cuates de Sinaloa who sing the theme song of the series. We had a great time and can’t wait for the series to premiere on Telemundo this April 22nd!
