BAD BUNNY continues to transcend cultural and language barriers with his music. Last week, the artist added another accomplishment to his career: performing live during one of the most popular TV shows in the U.S., The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Bunny took the opportunity to raise awareness about his native Puerto Rico by performing his latest single, “Estamos Bien,” while showing the devastation following Hurricane Maria, the aftermath and where the island is today – how it has risen from the rubble once again.

He made sure that the audience was immersed in what really happened to the island during the hurricane. The energy in the room shifted once images of people smiling and showing the island once in ruins back to being a beautiful and uplifting place, despite the lack of support from the federal government.

Definitely, an amazing opportunity he knew to take advantage of, and a proud moment for all Latinos as we see more and more Latinos making history and breaking barriers while never forgetting their roots.
